CAREER SUMMARY
Mr. Marchese has 50 years of diverse experience in planning, design, construction, and management of major Public Works’ organizations and facilities. His experience includes top executive positions in both the public and private sectors. Since retiring from active professional employment, Mr. Marchese has served in government as an elected official, and he is currently actively involved in several environmental and conservation NGO’s. Highlights of Mr. Marchese’s career include:
- Executive Director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District
- Director of Public Works and Development for Milwaukee County
- Senior Vice President with two nationally ranked environmental (Foth Van Dyke and CDM) and transportation (HNTB) engineering firms
- General Manager of Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE), an environmental engineering and science consulting firm
- Commissioner of the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. (Representing Milwaukee County)
- Vice Chair of the Ozaukee County Citizens Advisory Board during the preparation of Ozaukee County’s Comprehensive Plan
- Two terms on the Ozaukee County Board of Supervisors and Chairman of Ozaukee County’s Natural Resource Committee
